Blogspot's blog posts archived before WWW created... lol

Haha... Isnt it really funny. While browsing, i came across some of the blog posts archived even before WWW(World Wide Web) created...
You can look at the screenshots in the left and right hand side.

I'm just wondering how Google's blogger allowed to have such things...?

Is it really possible to pre-post the blogs even before the WWW & Blog was created?

It left me to research when was really WWW created?
I just searched on Wiki, to get the answer..,
From Wiki,
"...The World Wide Web was created in 1989 by Sir Tim Berners-Lee from England, and Robert Cailliau from Belgium, working at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland..."

Hope Wiki is not lying to me... ;-) . Hmm... So i thought Blog must be created after WWW was created... I guess you might be guessing the same.. some research vaguely shows, from wiki,

Usenet was the primary serial medium included in the original definition of the World Wide Web.[3][not in citation given] It featured the Moderated Newsgroup which allowed all posting in a newsgroup to be under the control of an individual or small group. Most such newsgroups were simply moderated discussion forums, however, in 1983-84, one exception, named mod.ber, was created, named after and managed by an individual: Brian E. Redman. Regularly, Redman and a few associates posted summaries of interesting postings and threads taking place elsewhere on the net. With its serial journal publishing style, presence on the pre-HTTP web and strong similarity to the common blog form which features links to interesting and cool places on the net chosen by the blogger, mod.ber had many of the characteristics commonly associated with the term Blog [citation needed][original research?]. It ceased operation after approximately 8 months. Brad Templeton calls the newsgroup rec.humor.funny (which he founded) the world's oldest still existing blog.
hmm... But when was Google's blogger created?
Pyra Labs is the company that coined the word Blogger, and made the service a big success...The service was made available to the public in August 1999...the company was acquired by Google in 2003.

Hmm.. Okie... When was these blogs created which i had given screenshots?
damn... I should have done that before... lol

Why does Blogger allows to archive the blog posts of 1987?

Or is it something modified in the code or something?
I'll be glad to know the reason.. if anyone knows it..

If anybody wants the URLs of these blogs.. Post comments..

Orkut - Why can't I control my communities?

It is not so long ago, I've written about Orkut death, and other couple of posts about Orkut and now I'm here with couple of reasons why could it happen at anytime.

Recently I'm able to see increasing number of communities in Orkut both good and bad and very bad communities.. Even some of our Indian web-site have written like Google is going to shut down the communities in Orkut after many protests in India, and many other incidents recently. I want to ask only one question to Google Inc.,

Why can't i control my communities notifications like the messages to my "orkut Messages". My Messages are flooded from many communities where I'm member of it. Someone says my son is a member of more than 800 communities then how can it be useful to receive all the messages in Orkut Messages? Why cant you give me control over the communities i joined at least? or Is it a sign of Shutting down communities in orkut? - Or is it time to join any other social networking sites?

Mapunity Information Services and India...

I really wondered when i had seen this, Bangalore Live Traffic in the site..,

Really it is an amazing web-site, the reason is very simple, This is the first of this kind, very innovative, bold step has taken by the Govt. to give such an opportunity to Mapunity Information Services, and they really won in this case. This is the kind of development needed for India... Use the advanced Technologies to provide solutions to this issues.

I just browsed through their web-site here is their vision,
Mapunity Information Services, based in Bangalore, develops geographic information systems primarily for government departments, civil society organizations, and development initiatives of commercial ventures. Founded in 2006, the company's objective is to help address India's development needs through the use of technologies for the communication of spatial information. The company is incubated at the N S Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
Wow.. this is the kind of people and companies needed for India. This is the kind of work needed for India... This is the kind of thoughts needed for India...
What We need to learn from this is "We always need to use of technologies for the country's development more than our individual needs"

Well said...!!!
