Questnet Business model - uncensored....

Here we go... guys.. I believe this article should clear all of your doubts... One thing you need to understand that 85% of the people are not gaining anything(if you say correctly 85% losers) in this tree structure.... If you are in other 15% of the tree yes you are really very lucky...

One of the comment from a guy says..."Are we early to the losers..??".. well said...

Here we go for the full article... my comments added with that article in red...

Many thanks to Praveen Kumar who helped me in this calculation... :)

QuestNet/GoldQuest: The good and the bad

March 8, 2006

I’ve never belonged to QuestNet, GoldQuest, or any similar organization, and I have no financial stake in their success or failure. However, at least 6 people have approached me about these companies during my last two weeks in Ethiopia, including close friends, so I’ve done some reading about the advantages and disadvantages of joining. Here are my conclusions.

A. The good

1. Some participants will make money.

The nature of these companies is that older members are rewarded by profits from sales to newer members. If you work hard, sell skillfully, and are one of the early joiners in your region, you may indeed make a profit.

2. You can learn salesmanship – a useful business skill.

The company will provide you with extensive materials teaching you how to persuade others to join. Indeed, the whole existence of these companies is based on their expertise in persuasion, and as many of you have seen, their representatives can indeed be very convincing. Of course the techniques of persuasion can be very useful in business and many other areas of life, so even if you lose money at least you may develop a useful skill.

3. You, and Ethiopia, will gain a deeper understanding of the expression “There’s no such thing as a free lunch.”

This may sound like I’m mocking Ethiopians, but I’m not. Systems like these come to every country. The first time they come, they bankrupt large numbers of people. Afterwards people tend to be more careful. So maybe this experience will act like an inoculation, protecting against worse episodes in the future. Of course I hope not too many people will be hurt by the inoculation.

B. The bad

1. The great majority of participants will lose money.

Unfortunately, if you work hard, sell skillfully, but are late to join, it’s practically impossible to make enough sales to make a profit.

In my analysis I have the advantage of a computer science education which taught me about trees. One interesting property of binary trees is that the number of nodes with two children is always less than half the total number of nodes. Examples:

We take the structure from above model, i'm taking 6 levels(level 0 - level 5) for explaining how money flows happens in this model... (Taking an example saying each person invests Rs.30,000 each.)

Level 0 1

Level 1 2

Level 2 4

Level 3 8

Level 4 16

Level 5 32

----------------------

6 levels 63

----------------------

If you see the calculation 7 out of 63 people gets the cheques for Rs.11,500 cheque. That means only 1/5 of the people are getting cheques(not the profits)

level 0, one person gets the cheque for Rs.46,000(4 * 11,500)

In level 1, two persons get the cheques for Rs 22,000(2*11,500) each. so it is Rs.46,000.

In level 2, four persons get the first cheque of Rs. 11,500. each so it is also Rs.46,000.

So here we go for the calculation,

Totally 63 people invested Rs. 30,000 each. 63*30000 = Rs.18,90,000

So 3 levels are getting the money as i mentioned earlier3*46000 = Rs.1,38,000

So only Rs.1.38 Lakhs of money distributed to very few fellows and rest of the money Rs.17,52,000 of the money donated to Questnet, that means in a 6 level tree Questnet can able to block 17.52 Lakhs with them..If you take the coin cost into account.. for example coin costs around 5 Lakhs then 12.52 Lakhs of money donated to Questnet...

So conclusion is.. If you are a questnet IR, You are not doing the marketing job, you are trying to collect the money from all the people and donates to the Questnet....>

At anytime in this tree.. the higher level in the tree can earn the money, but that money comes from other people always.... in the tree only 15% of the people always in winner side....so they make more money.. but that money comes from other 85% of the losers. That means.. 15% of the people trying to steal 85% of the people's money...

Note: Here i have taken an endless tree... If anytime tree breaks i'm sure there are more than 90% of the people will feel the heat ...(losers)

So decide yourself whether you want to join in this scheme.

So, no matter how many people join, more than half of them will lose money. In practice, in these organizations it’s not enough to have only two other people beneath you – to make a profit you need more. So the number of people profiting is actually far fewer than half.

Anyway you don’t need to study computer science to see that most participants lose money. You can just read about the many other countries where these systems have already bankrupted large numbers of people: Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, the Philippines, etc. See the links below.

2. These systems are a massive net loss for Ethiopia.

It’s clear from the way the money is awarded that, the higher you are in the tree, the more money you make. So a large proportion of the profits flows to those who started these organizations, who are in other countries. The net loss for Ethiopia is obvious from the most conspicuous international transactions at the moment, which involve people bringing worthless “e‑cards” into the country and in exchange taking out bundles of cash.

3. Time spent on these systems distracts people from productive work.

Of course people are free to spend their personal time and money as they choose. However, from a broader point of view, a society suffers when smart, hardworking citizens leave school or quit their jobs to devote themselves to unproductive work.

You may ask: why is work for these companies not “productive work”?

This is a fair and subtle question. Here’s how I see it. “Productive work” is effort which satisfies someone else’s pre-existing desire or need. A street sweeper leaves the street cleaner for those who walk it. A taxi driver helps people get where they want to go. A computer programmer causes a computer system to behave as a user requires. Even a prostitute can very easily defend her work as satisfying a desire.

But the only benefit produced by these companies, aside from the indirect benefit of sales training, is that a minority of their members make profits – and these profits simply come straight from the pockets of the majority, who lose out. No other service is provided. They’re just a complicated way of shoveling money from one person’s pocket into another, with the biggest recipients sitting in other countries.

4. These systems encourage you to think of friends and relatives as potential sales targets, rather than as people you respect and love.

This is what I most dislike about these companies.

If you haven’t already, you will probably soon encounter the phenomenon of the friend/relative who suddenly can’t shut up about how great this company is and how dumb you are for not joining. Now, it’s a feature of capitalist society that we are surrounded by unpleasant people working hard to convince us to buy things we don’t want. But it’s very sad when the person pushing you used to be your friend.

To me, the greatest tragedy in other countries hit by these systems – greater even than the bankruptcies and the suicides – has been the large numbers of former friends who end up bitterly divided when one or both go broke. As one Sri Lankan man said (just before the pyramid there did indeed collapse): “How will I face my colleagues and friends whom I persuaded to invest in the firm if this scheme collapses, as I hear it has in other countries?”

C. Some responses I’ve received so far, and my replies

1. “These companies are productive: by cutting out middlemen between manufacturers and buyers, they sell goods more efficiently.”

It’s true that cutting out middlemen can result in a more efficient business model. For example, Dell in the US is famous for selling high-quality computers directly to consumers. This allows them to charge lower prices than many competitors, because the competitors sell through stores which charge an extra commission.

However, there are two big problems with applying this argument to QuestNet etc.

First, these companies are full of middlemen! Every time you sell one of their products, a large part of the price is going to people above you in the pyramid. A person between the buyer and the manufacturer, who takes a portion of the sale price, is by definition a middleman.

Second, the easiest way to judge whether a distribution mechanism is efficient is to look at the bottom line: the price. Dell succeeded not because people admired its clever business model, but because they liked the low prices it charged for good products. Any time a company tells you it has a new way to sell something, just take the item they’re selling to Merkato, see how much people will pay for it there, and then compare to the price the company is charging.

2. “Aside from whether you approve of them, do you know if these companies are legal?”

I’ve read that they’ve been made illegal in some other countries, including Nepal and Bhutan (see links below). I’ve heard different claims about Ethiopia. The thing is, I don’t care too much. Even in the world’s most responsible countries there will be things which are legal but not right, or illegal but right. Governments will never be in a position to make all our decisions for us.

3. Ethiopia doesn’t have to lose. We can actually benefit, by recruiting new members from other countries.”

In principle this is true, but in practice it’s extremely unlikely that enough new members will be found elsewhere to balance the losses here. You will find people in most other countries more skeptical about these schemes. Every other country I’ve read of that has been entered by them has suffered a large loss.

Anyway, the issue goes beyond patriotism. In any pyramid scheme, the majority are losers and a handful of con men win big. If Ethiopia somehow manages to turn a profit at the expense of a bunch of suckers in, say, Bangladesh, my sympathy will be with the Bangladeshis.

4. “Not all network marketing/multi-level marketing companies are scams.”

This is true. For example, in the US, Tupperware has historically used a somewhat similar scheme to sell its products. (See the Wikipedia articles on “Multi-level marketing” and “Pyramid scheme”, linked below.)

The difference, once again, is price. Tupperware containers are popular for their own merits and are bought by non-members who consider them a good deal. These non-member customers are why Tupperware has existed for decades without collapsing.

However, as far as I know none of the companies using these techniques in Ethiopia operate like Tupperware. Instead, they sell products pretty much entirely to their own members. No non-member would consider paying the prices they charge. What they’re really selling is membership, and when they run out of people who want to buy that, those who joined last will find that what they bought was worthless.

D. Conclusions

As you can see, the issue is hotly debated, and the results could be serious both for many individuals and for the country. In the end, at least until the government strongly intervenes, each person will have to make his or her own decision. So here are my three recommendations to everyone concerned:

  • Don’t just believe anything anyone tells you, including me! Think for yourself. As I’ve said elsewhere, at this point in history there is no excuse for being uninformed if you have access to the Internet. And anyone considering paying a 6000-birr membership fee should be willing to first invest 20 or 30 birr in research at an Internet cafe.

  • Whatever you conclude, be sincere. Discuss pros and cons openly with others, so you can all be better informed. If you ever find yourself deceiving a friend just to make some money, something has gone very wrong.

  • Only risk money you can afford to lose! And whatever you do, don’t borrow money to join!! Even if you think it’s the greatest idea in history, it should be obvious to you that some sensible people think it’s risky. Hundreds of people in other countries have committed suicide when pyramid schemes they had invested everything in collapsed (see the Wikipedia links above). Don’t risk putting yourself in that position. Let’s make sure that, if things don’t work out, we’ll be able to laugh about it later on.

Jayaraj ,Instaed of using unparlimentary words(which just shows your aggressiveness) try to know about QI ltd. Your basic understanding of the company itself is wrong. WHy cant yopu talk like this against Tupperware man! Here the only thingh u say is Srilanka,Iran and the same thing agian and again,. Gold quest is a part of Qi. Who said it is not!You have put a blog as if u have doen some detective stuff and brought out a hidden secret! QI hass got 66 companies under it. An to be a part of QI it is not that we have to buy only the numismatic gold coins. There are holiday packages and calling cards and many more as part of their product. Without knowing in and out of the company how can u plunge into such non sensical talks? Your problem is the gold coin! So what do u have to say abt the hoilday packages nad calling cards? U said it is banned in Srilanka? Who said so....just from stupid blogs dont egt into conclusions. Know the fact and then speak. U keep talking only abt the 2 countries....then what abt the remaing 130 countries where Quest International is operating? Instaed of just assuming things like The whole world is under your branch, speak facts....that will help out i guess.

To be continued when our team finds some free time from our work ;-)

I was recently taken to Goldquest presentation by my roomie inspite of the fact i wasnt interested.
There are some key tricks that theese people play.
1. I was never told about the actual plan before i reached. I was led to assuming this is just a kind of some presntation with big buisiness guys aimed to educate us. I had no idea whatsoever that i was attending a notebook based presentation(i thought i would have been a laptop based one) in some untidy hotel.

2.I just discoavered that theese people were actaully waiting for me only(Like a bakra who needs to get halal). Then came a fellow who acted as very friendly and confident.
3.The presentation started with a few more fachhas like me and the Mr presentor explaining everything in detail as if he has crammed up like he might have done in his college days.
4. After end of scheme i thought yes scheme was very good and realy felt excited hearing how people made money without actaully seeing any proof of that. Mr. Presentator who claimed had made a few lakhs diddnt even showed his cheques but did show cheques of another member who might really have been sitting at top of the tree.
5. the biggest flaw that came to my mind was Rs 30K tag wich was too much for me inspite of my roomies convincing me. this amount is a few thousands more than my monthly salary and meant a lot to me.
6. Though i am a computer science student still i coulndt really guess tha the tree model that was being flawed. Then i did some research on net and to my amazement it diddnt took me long to figure out that indeed 85% of people stand to loose money. This article really opened my eyes and now i can see the desperation in my friends who planned to make me fall into thier line.

Anonymous said...

Yeh i agree with u. 85% are loosers. I really agree with this point.

But one question to every one of you. Hav u guys ever had a pepsi in ur life? That bottle which u buy for 10 bugs is actually of just 0.5 bugs. Now i want to ask u "Dont you feel being a looser after having Pepsi?" If your answer is 'NO' then why?

You all talk about 85% loosers. In this above senario i say all 100% people who buy a pepsi just for enjoyment are loosers...!

Reallity of this world is a cutomer is always a looser. In fact the best point in this buisness is atleast u have an opportunity to become a winner some day. And that is just because a customer becomes an enturprenure. In all other buisness a customer is just a losser and nothing more than that.

One more point. I want Jayaraj to go legal.

Jayaraj:"I'm sure if i go legal the tree will be stopped atleast for some years."

Lets all of us see what the max hell can do to stop this chain. He can only do any damn thing if he is either a minister(by making a law that quest net is illegal) or the owner of quest net(by clossing down the whole buisness LOL).

Anyways one statement for all:::::
"IF U ARE WORKING REALLY HARD FOR EARNING MONEY TO SUPPORT YOUR BELOVED GET INTO THIS BUISNESS TODAY OR GO AWAY DO YOUR CRAP WORK DAY-IN-N-DAY-OUT AND GET PAID FOR PEANUTS. WRITTING COMMENT IN THIS BLOG WILL NOT LET U TO GAIN ANYTHING".

Thanks Jayraj,
u actually saved me from investing...cause all around me r making issues that GQ is the best to become rich and make money.... ur ideas are really helpful...

best thing that i come to know is

85% r loosers,
i dont wan to earn through sucking bloods of others and
rushing for money making is not the aim of my life..

when i read the book "The mock u sold his ferrari" Robin Sharma... i really understood that to make ur life happy and satisfied ur view is to be changed..... MONEY is not every thing..

Thanks again...

Hi Jayaraj,

Your article seems to be very popular. You are still getting comments one year after you wrote the article. Congratulations.

Someone has asked me to become a member of GQ and that's why I was researching on the topic. I came across your post and it seems to be a very logical compilation of points. Though I haven't read the full post, I can understand the concept of Binary tree and how it wouldn't work in the long run.

I was curious about your comment on "going legal". You really are passionate about this. I and a lot of other people would be glad if you did go legal. But making claims about secret investigative work doesn't lend you credibility. I think you should tell about everyone the nature of your work and the investigation you talked about.

In the short time that I have researched about the concept of MLMs, I have realized that the reason respectable people fall into this trap is that they are buying a product which has value. I even heard a claim that the coins will be worth a few lakhs some years down the line. I'm not sure if it’s true. But if it is, then good for those who bought them.

But somehow I can't accept that the GQ guys are running a simple pyramid scheme in so many countries. The person who asked me to join, told me that the company might be investing the amount and then distributing the returns. That seemed like a logical explanation. And the idea of buying a 50 paise Pepsi for 10 bucks does make everyone seem like a sucker. At least these guys tell you upfront that you are paying too much for the product.

I will give the GQ guys the benefit of doubt and say that they are just businessmen, trying to do legal business with a flawed model.

But if the model is flawed then I believe we should expose it. I would like the Govt. to pass a legislation that would require all companies with MLM models to report the following irrespective of their incorporation status - public or private.

1. Total number of members

2. Total number of chains

3. Maximum and Minimum income of the members at the root level along with the number of members in their chain

4. Maximum and Minimum number of members in the chains

5. Total amount of money collected from the members

6. Total amount of money disbursed among the members

The biggest factor in attracting people to the concept is that the money is passed back to the members. If the above information is available to the general public, then it will become apparent as to how much money is actually passed back to the members.

I would love to hear your comments on my suggestion.

To,
The Owl and others(shreedevi in particular) who give the benefit of doubt to QI/GQ.

Guyz wake up!!

Even after one year of discussion on this topic how can you think of giving benefit of doubt on just hearsay???

These companies hire people just to say such things that they had nothing before but got lakhs and lakhs of money from QI/GQ.

They also make up cock and bull stories about a student in a certain college or a employee of a certain company bought a skoda octavia thanks to QI/GQ.

These stories become widespread to an extent where people just believe it without thinking for a second.

You may argue how these companies are surviving if they are frauds??
Yes unfortunately they are surviving due to the greed of man and awarelessness of such scams.

Man is greedy, this the weakness that these companies try to exploit and they do it in real style. People are always looking for inspiration, success stories and a ways to succeed and these companies provide all the three of these(of course only a handful of people will try to find out the legitmacy of those claims which always turns out to be false claims)

There is no such thing in this world as "easy way to make money" only exception is gambling where the participants are well aware of the risks involved and not like these companies which build only a rosy picture to the new "bakra" whom they are selling their worthless products and membership.

To make money there always needs to be business model, where you produce something and sell it for the proper value.
The buyer of your produce should get a proper "value for money" he spends.

Not like these companies where money is just taken from the guys below you and a part is given to you.
There is no production as such.
There is no value for the money you spend.

Just go and see the website
http://www.quest.net the products section they dont mention the proper price of the products at all.

To conclude, this tree scemes are nothing but mass brainwashing of people who dont want to think...

Thanks to Jayaraj for providing a platform for people to present their point of view.

i can be happy with that iam earning...
the money we get should give happyness in life...

the stuff which which we get from this kind of network marketting is others
if those people who are in it think of people of future(leaf nodes) at least once..
but they will not think about it..
what they want is only money...

ok people have freedom to decide on there own...

hats off jayaraj...

Guys,
If it was a scam, do you all think the news media which goes to any extent to get a sccop will spare Gold Quest. Guys, before going into tarnishing something, you have to look into real facts. Whoever is saying bad about Goldquest, if you ask him details of the same, he will say, I don't know really about it but my fiends cousin's uncle's grandfather's niece heard that Goldquest is bad.It is very easy to say that something is bad or good, but saying it after studying well about it is something different. 85% & 15% who is making the separation. All I can say is that I have lost not just a friend but many to Quest Net. There were days we friends used to meet for a glass of fine wine and good conversation.
Now when ever he invites me over for dinner there are plans happening in his living room and we are dining in his bedroom and his choosen topic of conversation is Quest.
He gone loony and I guess all the boggers here who support Quest need to get their life sorted

Hey!!!Very good information jeyaraj
But im very sad to keep my mouths shut as more than 30 of my friends are involved in this .they made me attend their presentation and i felt very pity about the well educated software guys n gals i saw there.i cannot understand why they are all so greedy even if they are getting a better pay and work environment than compared to any other industry. Those who joined are all infected and it is very hard to make them rethink(i tried but failed).seems most of them are hearing about money chain business for the first time.
lemme ask the joined people a question, they told about a scooter they are making together with kinetic, why cant you buy that?bcoz its somwat worth your money.
i have only one request, dont ever curse jayaraj, bcoz he is doing a pretty good job which hundreds of people like i wish to save my friends value friendship and want to raise the voice against evil...
Once again Congratz!!!! n please keep on raise your voice

Attn all those who talk in favour of QuestNet:

You may argue that QuestNet is not a MLM or Pyramid selling scheme and they are operating in many countries that have stringent rules and regulations and that proves QuestNet is a legitimate business.

By registering a company in a country does not necessary certify that their business activities are legal.

fyi, QuestNet is registered in Singapore and Sweeden as a Training provider.

They were formerly registered as GoldQuest International Pte Ltd, which was proved a scam and shutdown in many companies.

Do you think Sweeden, Singapore does not have proper laws to govern MLM/Pyramid selling?

How many of you have went through the Policies and Procedures of QuestNet, which only popup during the one time registration of IR?

Most of the MLM/Pyramid companies have different set of policies and procedures during registration, and after a while they get changed?

Unless the public is not aware of the local legal system w.r.t. trade and commerce in the respective countries, how would the public come to know whether such MLM/Pyramid selling is legal or not??

And most of such businesses grow based on referels who are through known sources. And even if you find that QuestNet is an illegitimate business activity, are you prepared to launch a complaint against a company where one/more of your friends/colleages are registered as IRs and invested more than 400UDS?

fyi, the products sold by them does not contain any guarantee.

Guys... seriously I dint have time to go through full comments... this is decent start from jayaraj. I was searching orkut communities n found a negative or anti QI..this how I found this blog. A friend of mine has been in QI for sometime..he s sometimes being called as leader.. he has made money.. but.. as Jayaraj said..he in the 15% .. a group of friends joined under him...almost all my class mates in school joined.. I was not aware of this as I left abroad for higher studies.. when I returned I found that the whole class has been divided n friends were foes.. when I enquired abt this.. QI was reason behind..not actually.. but in someway..even my friend who made money was able to convince me for a login..tats the reason y i was searching abt QI in internet..in this blog Many talk abt the company is legal..or not.. then wats wrong in making money..marketing skills.. but beware guys.. at the end of the day there are ppl losing money ... n priceless relationships... n many cant digest tat 30000 bugs s gone...

Hi ,
First thing, I can understand how this must be really bothering many people. And it is really not surprising that people are acting that way about Pyramids and stuffs without understanding what they are talking about. , meaning without understanding what is the difference between a pyramid and a MLM. There are many Nations in the world which have struggled with the concept of network marketing as it is one of the greatest revolution the history of mankind has ever seen. However different Nations as United States, European countries, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Japan etc had started recognizing the power and the good this new phenomenon is doing across the world, and they have made laws to differentiate the Fair company with the Unfair/ illegal companies.
Also lets think logically, what is the real concern in doing Networking????
Is it Legal aspects??? Or is the ethical aspect???? (Is networking ethical)
Legal Aspects- questnet is legally operating its business in various countries like India, US, Singapore, Malaysia plus more than 130 countries.
Ethical Aspect - Ethics is a personal choice and it is not restricted to a particular profession. Meaning there can be a great surgeon who through his work is saving the lives of many diseased people, and he has come to this level with great discipline and persistence in his work and studies. At the same time there can be another surgeon who also has got his certificate, but due to neglect and lack of persistence in perfecting his surgery has legally killed many people in his surgery. You may be shocked, but I know both such type of surgeons in real life through my bro who is a doctor in Wockhardt Mulund. Also at the same time there can be a quack with a fake certificate, who takes people's money and runs away with it, in which here I categorize as pyramid companies and bogus money chit circulation schemes.
In the first 2 examples, I mean when something you can legally do in a country, it is your personal choice how seriously you take your work. Are you doing networking with the intention to not really help people, just only to take your commission and run away or are you doing networking to learn, practice as it is recommended by the system to really help another person to raise himself and save him from financial crisis? Just because a surgeon has killed a man through neglect doesn’t mean all surgeon are crooks in India, similarly just because some people have done networking wrongly doesn't mean all networkers are conning people.
Someone made an allegation in an indian blog that Quest exists only in websites: how much more absurd this allegation can this get?? From a trainee software engineer, that questnet exists only in website when company has invested in sprawling offices, real estate properties, charity works all over India and globally, the huge errors in these report can be seen in the negligence on part of the complaint to atleast visit the banglore office and do due investigations of our company at banglore where this trainee software engineer is based before making a claim the company only exists virtually in cyber space only. If it is not an irresponsible report what else can I name it? Imagine placing such a person as head of journalism in India.

Another allegation by made in a blog “People in Nepal have sold land to get into quest business”, 23000rs which is min cost of product in Quest in world plan, if that is the cost of land in Nepal, I would personally like to book acres of land there and do some farming and exporting. I mean how much more ridiculous can these allegations be? Nepal by the way has reopened to quest, because quest doesn’t give up on their mission.
look at these quotes.
Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.
Albert Einstein
Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex... It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction. "
- by Albert Einstein

a more powerful 45 minutesVideo which will shed light on networking, Pyramids, and what is scams. This is the video which has been played in the High courts and Supreme Courts of Europe has helped Governments of countries to formulate network marketing laws. This Video has changed the lifes of many people around the globe by giving them deeper understanding about this business. I am talking about BRILLIANT COMPENSATION. I don’t if many networkers have really bothered to go through it or understood it, such doubts wouldn’t come at all.
pls go on www.explorefreedom.com/trump
and order one copy of brilliant compensation CD, interview with a Harvard MBA graduate, senior financial consultant for General Motors, General Electric and many fortune 200 companys. Currently a senior faculty in the University of Illnois in Chicago teaching "Network marketing".

I have gone through those links and i can actually challenge anyone to sit on a one on one with sa i can dissect all the allegations into words and letters, with thorough posmortem, i can show you that most of them actuaaly are just opnions of not experts and is biased.
So those links in simple words - its like burning the scientists on stake for making a claim that the earth is round when the earth was considered flat many yrs ago. History just repeats. Violent reaction from Mediocre minds. For every argument the person on mouthshut.com makes I have enough knowledge & Facts which i have gathered in more than 2 yrs to make a counter arguments with solid facts and proof including videos from CNBC, SAHARA ONE ZEE BUSINESS, STAR WORLD, ASIANET, MALAYASIAN TV, all fmaous TV channels etc etc, do not make a judgments on opinions or half done investigations. At the same time it will be more productive for us to focus on our business and achieve our dreams and make things happen. Dont waste time playing football in your mind with these opinions of people, why i say, in my own network even Becket's best friend showed him the same web site n Becket lost 3 months, where Becket didnt participate in biz or clarify his doubts, but then after 3 months when we sat down and clarified his doubts, after which we both worked hard and today built a solid business in quest, where as the person who discouraged him from network marketing, didnt turn back to help him the future, Which means unlike many networkin companies which just exist, quest is achieving big time success, n there has to be some ppl who wud wanna voice their ignorant opinion seeing the massive success.

At this stage of business we have collected MASSIVE DATA, The funny part is and I can bet a Mercedes on it, is that the people who are shouting hoarse pyramiding, pyramiding, pyramiding!!!! If I ask them what do they understand by pyramiding, they would get a 0/10 marks for their ignorant answer. People don’t understand the definition of an illegal pyramid. Hence even the judiciary of India has given an official declaration with stamp & signed in an official document from the JUDICIARY OF INDIA advising the public not to bring cases to the court against NETWORK MARKETING COMPANIES, first learn to distinguish between what’s a NETWORK MARKETING CO. AND AN ILLEGAL PYRAMID CO. before approaching the court. I happen to posses a copy of it. Again whats a pyramid???? If you don’t know, instead of giving an unsound advise to people of RUNNING AWAY FROM NETWORKING, I suggest EDUCATE YOURSELF, if you really believe 100% that this whole thing is a scam, complaint at the nearest police station. But take ACTION, not just talk, if such people who have a small minds, small visions were given the position of power in countries around the world, the world would be a dark place with no electricity, no roads, no internet, no bridges, no airplanes, no space explorations. The great thinkers and inventers of the past because of whom we have the light bulb, airplanes, radios etc were people who had courage to go against the majority and absolute faith in their work. When Marconi claimed he could send messages across space without means of a wire, his friends forcefully admitted him in a mental asylum, but thanks to him today we are listening to FM in our mobiles n walkmans etc making our life smoother. When Right brothers wanted to invent a flying machine they were met with ridicule & that they would never make it. But today we are enjoying travel at great speeds thru planes. But we are not aware that whatever we are enjoying today somebody had paid a great price for it and were also scorned by mediocre minds.

The path to success is wrought with dead bodies of failed men, who have failed due to doubts , procrastinations, lack of courage, due to giving up when few feet away from success, lack of focus, fear of failure, fear of other people’s opinions & many other reasons, but the major percentage is due to lack of Vision. Today a robot can think and calculate faster than a human being, so I don’t think we have some really fantastic brains, but what distinguishes us from robots is the power to dream. Else a man without a compelling reason, burning desire and a sense of urgency is as good as a dead man.
Remember whether in War or Business or Life, everyone admires the Bold. Any doubts or hesitations to do business will infect your execution like a virus.

i assure u we are in the best hands, and in the Best company with the Best product. Challenges is part of every business, there is no Big time company today which hasn't been to a court or faced a challenge, if you check on every company, reliance, microsoft etc etc has many cases on them, but a solid company faces the challenge and doesn't run away from it, that’s the difference!! Quest Net has stood ROCK SOLID like the himalayas in storm, controversy , rain. Only when a tree is laden with many fruits do people throw stones at it, otherwise no one cares.

Great great work JayRaj. QustNet people please don't argue with the facts, but remember you are allowed to cheat your friends and relatives untill QuestNet get banned. So keep working, keep cheating but dont argue against the fact.

Great work Jayraj. I hope few guys have saves their money and time. 6 months back few of my friends asked me to invest me into this business and I did investment beliving them as they were my close buddy ( I was capable of taking that much risk ). then I started attending training in Maulana Hall, Koregaon Park, Pune. Every weekend there is training. I have a habbit of listening properly and then do analysis from my engineering days. Sometime presenter says you have wested your 20-25 years in studies and then 40 years to fulfilled ur daily needs.
Is there any guy who can say that he has wested 20-25 years in studies? This was a shocking point for me.....also lots of bullsheet talks.
Finally its just a Pyramid.
1. If you want to earn money at any cost
2. you can cheat your near and dear ones.
3. you can sell wrong roduct.
4. harm the society.
5. You want to change your personality from being a productive person to a nonproductive person

then You are the right person to join the business and make money.
All the best to you

Thanks Jayraj, If i would not have read your article i would have invested money in this scheme and as you all know, I would have lost the money.

In my case my friend who gave the presentation said " Don't you want to buy a BMW car, don't you want to buy a house in Bangalore and don't you want to earn 7 lakhs in a week..."...

Well let my friend make 7 lakhs a week and buy a BMW.. I want to be away from this scheme...

I think being a part of this scheme would make you lose your near and dear people...

HI Jayaraj , you have done excellent work ...You saved my 30000 bucks ...Hi Sangeet who has given long description about QuestNet Can you give me the response ...Think that Current India population is 100 crores .All are joined in Quest Net ....Do you know last level 50 crore people won't get single buck except Packages (Not worth more than 1/5 of bucks paying for signup )Quest Net is giving .Last but level 25 crores people are getting 2300 bucks + bloody package after joing left and right childs .Below this level 12.5 crores people are getting 11500+2300+bullshit package and below this level 6.25 crores people are getting 23000+2300+Bullshit packages .What i am concluding is totally 93.5 crores people do not get any profit .Those 6.5 crores in the sense (6.5 %)people will get profit sucking their blood , deceiving their near and dear ones .If you applied this to entire world assume 600 crores of people 557.5 crores of people not getting any profit .only that 42.5 crores (7 % )people are will get profit ..If you feel this is not the truth ...I am expecting response from you .

Thanks for the love. It takes
true love to do all that research
and display it to the world.

Funny, one fellow tried to brainwash me with the QuestNet crap today on Yahoo Messenger! Wish I had seen this blog earlier to slap him in the face with!

My heart goes out to those people
who got duped. I wish I knew how I
could help them get back their funds.

However, my idea is that those people who have been duped should unite and SUE these conmen. There's power in numbers.

Peace.

Why u are thinknig losing money here? The coin which i ever u purchased is a rare coin, which only 999 ppl can have it. isn't it?
let us say why ppl will spend 1000Rs for chirnajeevi movie to watch it on first day. The company is making coins with famous personalities
and they are making sure that no one can do the same. If someone else is doing the same then it is cheating.
Also they are so many products like mobile phones, vacation packages....
Let us take simple example to travel from X city to Y city, fares keep on changing based on air line u choose
Does it means are they cheating? Not at all, it all depends on facilities they are providing.
Here QI is providing one oppurtunity to do the business. if u think that u can't do the business then don't join.
If they are selling one rupee coin for 100Rs then it is cheating but they are selling famous personalities gold coins
U know few months bfr they gave two phones for 33k and these two phones supports dual sim and so many high level features

U are saying that "the higher you are in the tree, the more money you make". Is this not true in any organization?

Let us take any software company. CEO will get more than what others get. A senior engineer will get more than fresher. Why?
Did u ever think why? And if company does not perform well, they simple lay off ppl or won't give hikes even u worked hard for one year.
Is this not cheating? But here ppl at high level will loose nothing. Low level ppl are simple doing whatever high level ppl said but any thing
goes wrong, loser is low level ppl. In quest net we are loosing nothing but in software companies i am losing both time and hard work.

In this world the biggest problem is loosers will always throw rocks at winners.

Hi Jayaraj/Sangeet...
I saw two sides of the argument with all the patience that I could muster.
At the end of the day its my choice to join the fray or not. I have made up my mind and I am going to let my college friend know what it is...
I dont believe in jumping into something without thorough information . What Jayaraj said about binary tree is a truth and with probabilities of things happening suddenly in real life I just cant go for this "oppurtunity". If that makes me look like a looser to many QI, so be it. The point is I dont want to shell out 30k grands and then force others to do the same promising them something good and then seeing them fail at this. I would not have the courage to see them failing in the business just in case they dont have the skills. I believe that every one is unique and does not have the same skills.

Anyways thanks to all for your views and the kind of hard work that you guys have put in to share ...

"It will take at least 10 years for this system to saturate (can't find people to add) in India, why are you bothered about it?" a 'leader' in this system said me. I told "the longer it takes, more the number of people who would have lost their money to feed others" Only 15% of people in the tree make money at the cost of the remaining ones: this is a fact.
If you want to "change lives", adopt a girl child, work with mentally challenged kids. Don't bull shit about amassing so much wealth that "actually I want to open a charitable school for such kids from the money 'earned' in this system."

Hi all
I had seen that some one comparing this with the direct advertisment done by normal bussiness.

The fact here is that the one doing the advertisement for pepsi or so is of no one for me. More over I am gettng my enjoyment which no one can tag a price for it.

If I want to have a pepsi i go and buy it and drink. Thats what I do.

The shopkeeper doesn't offer me the pepsi unless until i ask him even though he gets some profit. But now in this case we need to go and use all your relations and misguide( even if you are hiding truth) them, and make them to join.

Hey friends, i donot agree with you for that the gold quest is illegal, friends i do garee that the figure shown by the quest plans are to much but don't you think that the people who joins the business are really serious to acheive the same, how many of us actually find out the complete information about the company and how it works what are the major strengts and how they pay the big amouit to the customers. How many of us really know what is the cash flow of the comapany...how of us follow the business model and many of us really follow the system and take the trainings seriously...this the business to acheive dreams and acheiving the dreams is absolutely not easy...first take the business serously, follow ur upline or the mentor. Sit with them to know the business and above all follow ur self then others opinions....

very interesting to find the debate that has started since year 2006, there are huge monies involved in this QuestNet business no doubt about it, do you know that 4 times world champion, the legend of Billiard is the leader of the Faith Group(part of QuestNet only) and said to be that he joined in this network at the age of 67 and now he owns about or more than 85,000 members in his group world wide.

He has planned for a visit in Dubai recently but he has cancelled the trip for unknown reasons to celebrate the Faith Festival in Dubai.

I know that only about 15% people can be successful at the end of the day or end of the world or else the last 85% of people will not get back 100% of their investment, in that case the person sitting in the top of ??? that particular concerned network will buy some products by putting his box underneath the concerned downline to run the business(or creating a build up???), but there can be surely a new 15% millionaires??? in the world population assuming that 100% of the world population(ignore kids, beggers?, unemployed people, etc. for the convenient sake) participated in this business.

But the Biggest Question is so far they have only 4.5 million members only since last 10 years, the business was started somewhere in 1998 or so, during the last 10 years they could cover only 4.5 million out of 65 billion population world wide, of course 60% of the world population may be a poor, 20% of the population suffering to get a bread for a day/week/month???....

whatever may be the situation, people are still running this business because even a common man wants big money buying lottery, totto tickets, thinking of 1 in million(depends the tickets printed n the people bought the tickets) probability to get the first prize, in the same way all the people in the world are aiming for 15% probability of getting the success. it's sure a gambling man, those who wants can take it other can leave it.

but, we must appreciate the pros and cons of this business and people have to be careful about their investment and happily do their gambling.

(P.S. Please correct the errors if any in the post)
